
A lot of info was just dumped on me, and sometimes the info didn't make sense Viord was always a bit messy and bloodthirsty, but in the last half of the book he becomes almost like an animal? sniffing the ground and air like a dog was just weird, especially since none of the other banished Nox showed these signs of becoming more animal like. It made the plot-twists lose their twisty feeling, because there was no time to actually think about them before something new happened. It was constant action with no time to rest, which bothered me to no end. The whole last part of the story was the same thing: they get found by Mordecai, a battle ensues, someone gets hurt but doesn't die and sleeps for like a week, then Leena gets mad about secrets being kept and the cycle starts all over again. I loved the banter between Leena, Aidan, Zacharia loved him, was very sad when he was the only one that didn't survive and Suki. After I got through that confusing stage of the world being built, I was actually really liking this. The beginning was superhard: the world was confusing, the "magic" of the world (I know it's not a good name for it) didn't make sense to me.
